How to keep yourself full of a positive mindset and overcome negative thoughts
The gladness of heart is the life of humans and the joyfulness of humans is the length of days. If you are not happy and wish to be happy, there is just one person who could make that happen. And that’s YOU and ONLY YOU.
Just like, in order to heal the wounds and treat it with proper medicine a
diagnose must know what kind of wound is and how it caused, One must know
what kind of mindset that he/she possesses by analysing what thoughts are
generating and from where and are they helping to be happy, peaceful and
successful.
In this article, we will discuss what a positive mind is, how a
negative mindset impact on our mental state and whole life. If you or your dear ones are going through a tough time and want to come out of those toxic and anxious thoughts, then a few tips and techniques to keep oneself away from negative thoughts.
Positive Mindset
Helen Keller said, no pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed in an uncharted land, or opened a brand-new paradise to the human spirit and Vince Lombardi proposed that Winning is a habit. Pessimists in small doses might help one to set realistic anticipation, but a steady diet of pessimism is poisonous and will bring down even the most positive person. Philosopher and psychologist William James said, Human beings, by altering the interior attitudes of their minds, can change the outer facets of their lives. There is a thing called The Law of Attraction that can be best described by Proverb," as a guy thinks in his heart, so is he"Francois d La Rochefoucauld provided one of the reasons for gratitude and a positive state of mind when he said, Gratitude is simply the secret hope of further favours.
The advantages of being happy are many in that you are more inclined to attract what you want from a positive state of mind than you are from a negative one. If you wish to be happy, then you must follow the advice of Mahatma Gandhi he said, "you must be the change you would like to see in the world".
Why it is important to overcome from negativities of the mind:
In Bhagavad Geeta the need of overcoming from negativities of the material mind is beautifully explained in verse (2:3) which is as follow:
क्लैब्यं मा स्म गम: पार्थ नैतत्त्वय्युपपद्यते |
क्षुद्रं हृदयदौर्बल्यं त्यक्त्वोत्तिष्ठ परन्तप || 3||
klaibyaṁ mā sma gamaḥ pārtha naitat tvayyupapadyate
kṣhudraṁ hṛidaya-daurbalyaṁ tyaktvottiṣhṭha parantapa
O Parth, it does not befit you to yield to this unmanliness. Give up such petty weakness of heart and arise, O vanquisher of enemies.
Explanation: Successfully treading the path of enlightenment requires high
spirits and morale. One needs to be optimistic, enthusiastic, and
energetic to overcome the negativities of the material mind, such as sloth,
the rut of habit, ignorance, and attachment.
Lord Shree Krishna goes on to explain that the way Arjun is feeling is neither moral duty nor true compassion; rather, it is lamentation and delusion. It has its roots in the weakness of mind. If his behaviour was truly based on wisdom and mercy, then he would experience neither confusion nor grief.
Negative Mind
For many people, 95-100% of their ideas are negative. While many people are aware of their state of pessimism, they unaware of the impact it is on success, their own happiness, wealth, and relationships. No surprise it may seem hard to get what you want from life. It may be time if thoughts keep running through your mind. Studying the difficulties of life in a manner will not only enhance your wellness, but research also shows that it may increase your longevity.
People who see the glass has water, have lower rates of depression immune
systems, reduced risk of disease, and improved coping abilities during times
that are hard. They have inclination progress in their career, to have connections, and
make more money.
You might take control with thinking once you begin to recognize situations which put you create worry or undermine your confidence. If you are usually a negative person, keep practising overcoming out of it. Like every other habit, changing your thinking process will also take time and some effort.
Here are several tips and techniques that will assist you to remain positive.
- When an unwanted emotion pops into your mind, place it on it. If you cannot
control it, do not worry about it.
- Find things to laugh about, especially. Create lists of accomplishments,
favoured memories, things to be grateful for, and future possibilities.
Cease blaming everything that happens on yourself.
- Take out a circumstance that is negative to enhance.
- Do not let one minor problem in the morning ruin your whole day.
- Look after yourself: Exercise, eat healthily and get sufficient sleep. Trust me a proper and Healthy sleep is the best medicine for depression and any negative thoughts.
- ACTION STEP. Identify areas in your life that help to keep you away from dwelling in negative energy. Create a list, and after that reframe them in a favourable manner. Regularly repeat/recite this list mentally.
- Continually, think about what you want, not what you do not want. Whilst it might not seem to be very significant, the capability to think positive may have a big impact on each area of your life. Do follow the above suggestions seriously and implement them.
